1. Are strollers allowed?

2. Are pets allowed?

Sorry, pets are not allowed.

3. Who receives a medal?

​

Every finisher will receive a Custom Medal AND additionally the Top 3 Overall Male and Female runners AND Top Male and Female in each Age Category receive an additional medal.

4. What are the age categories?

​

Up to 14,  15-19,  20-29,  30-39,  40-49,  50-59,  60-69,  70+

6. Can I pick up someone else's packet on Pre-Race Day Packet pickup?

​

Yes, if you have their name and birth date. Pre-Race Day Packet pickup will be held on Friday, December 10th from 4-7pm at Tortoise and Hare Sports (17570 N. 75th Ave. #605, Glendale, AZ)

8. What is included in the Kids Run Registration?

​

Kids Run Registration includes a Custom Medal, Race bib, and Post Race snacks.  Shirts may be purchased additionally during registration or on race day. (sizes will be limited on race day)

9. How do I get my child into the Kids Zone? 

​

Your child must be wearing a race bib and be checked in and out of the Kids' Zone by a parent. 

​

10. Can I run with my child?

​

YES! You may run the 1-mile Kids Run with your child. 

​

 

11. How do I participate as a Virtual Runner and What is Included?

​

 As a Virtual Runner, you will choose a 5K or Kids Run course on your own and run it in behalf and support of Operation Underground Railroad. Choose a date and route that is convenient for you! Your RACE BIB and CUSTOM MEDAL will be mailed to the address you provide by Saturday, December 11th. When you have completed your Virtual Run, be sure to post your pics and tag us! Add hashtag #ourphoenixrescuerun

12.  Can I register a large group?

​

Yes! Fill out the Group Registration Form HERE and you can all SAVE!

13. What is the 50/50 Raffle? Is it the Same as the Goodies Raffle?

​

You may purchase multiple raffle tickets to be entered into the 50/50 Raffle. 50% of the money raised through the 50/50 Raffle will go straight to O.U.R. while the other 50% will go to the Grand Prize winner who will be drawn on Race Day and will receive the check! The more tickets you purchase, the more chances you have of winning...as well as the more money you raise to support Operation Underground Railroad! This is SEPARATE from the Goodies Raffle. Each 5k participant will be entered into the Goodies Raffle where winners are drawn during the Awards Ceremony to receive baskets and prizes provided by our awesome sponsors!

14.  Does the Price go up?

​

Yes! The sooner you register, the more you save. The price of the 5k starts at $25 and goes up to $50. The 1-mile Kids Run starts at $15 and goes up to $20, and the Virtual Run starts at $20 and goes up to $30.
